Behlen Industries LP is a company of the WGI Westman Group Inc., a robust group of steel manufacturing companies. Behlen has been manufacturing steel building systems in Brandon, Manitoba, since 1969, and has since grown to become Canada’s largest manufacturer of steel building systems. Our success is built on our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service.

With a highly experienced engineering team and high-level modeling, Behlen can achieve the highest quality steel building systems. Behlen buildings are an erectors first choice because the buildings fit together better which results in reduced erection time and cost. This becomes very important with large and/or complex buildings such as large aircraft hangars or buildings used at mining sites.

Over the years Behlen has made some notable achievements including:

• Opening our Brandon, MB, based manufacturing facility in 1969
• Manufacturing the first Frameless Steel Building in Canada in 1969
• Becoming North America’s first steel building manufacturer registered to ISO 9001 in 1995
• Becoming one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies in 1997
• Manufacturing the world’s first Frameless Steel Building with a clear span of 95m (313’) wide
